This I drew for it's crystalline properties. I filled the vessel half way with water, then added a deep red food dye, even though I am working monotone, it gave me enough information to create a certain depth and richness within the glass walls. My favourite part is the prism at the top, the mathematical light refraction was recreated as close as possible using a variety of alternately oriented triangles of varying tones. A successful drawing, the actual body of the bottle is a little askew, but I don't use a ruler, so what I lose in dimensional accuracy, I make up for in relative realism.
The attention to detail is absolutely amazing!
i love all your drawings like this.. of the crystal bottles. they really show your skill, and perfectionism.
Very tricky! Lovely indeed. Any background shading in mind?
My fucking god. You have my respect as an artist.
whoa how the hell could you draw that?! o_O talented
How can you only have one comment! I have to agree that the perspective is a little skewed but that just adds 2 the character of the piece. A round of applause for that effort I think!
Whoa, amazingly shaded with great realistic texture. I really like the reflection of the top. Looks realistic. I have to agree on your description, the top is the best part with the bottle, and perspective is a little off. If I ad been an art teacher you would get 4+ or 5 (where 6 is the best).
